Saipan
The most populated island in the Northern Marianas, is endowed with blue lagoons, white sand beaches and verdant hills. There are four golf courses on Saipan, each offering unique experiences. Three of the courses are built along the ocean and offer spectacular ocean views. All the courses are within easy driving distance of any hotel on the island.
Kingfisher Golf Links-
Kingfisher Golf Links, opened in 1996, is tucked away in an otherwise undeveloped slice of
Saipan's lovely coast. Designed by Graham Marsh, this oceanside links offers
something to delight and challenge every player including shots over both the sea and the
largest artificial pond on Saipan. |
Lao Lao Bay- Lao
Lao Bay Golf Resort, designed by Greg Norman, was opened in 1994. The resort has two
18-hole courses. The courses stretch from the top of Saipan's tallest peak,
Tapotchau, all the way to Lao Lao Bay. The 6,330 yard eastern course runs along Lao
Lao Bay making for beautiful scenery and windy conditions. The 6,805 yard western
course stretches along the Tapotchau with narrow fairways, ponds and carefully placed
sandtraps. |
Coral Ocean Point
Resort Club- Coral Ocean Point, opened in 1988 and measuring 7,105 yards
from the tips, was designed by PGA professional Larry Nelson. The course, which
synthesizes the environment into the design, is located near the breath taking Philippine
Sea. Coral Ocean Point Resort Club includes a 103 room hotel and also manages
Saipan's helicopter tours. |
Hyatt Regency-
Set in over 14 acres of landscaped gardens on Micro beach with fountains, waterfalls,
ornamental lakes, pools and bridges that create an idyllic setting. The hotel
features six restaurants, coffee shops and bars offering a variety of Easter and Western
Cuisine, a swimming pool, two tennis courts, volleyball, shuffle board, croquet,
windsurfing and a fitness center. |
Aqua Resort Club-
An ocean front paradise, it is only seconds from the beach and ten minutes from convenient
shopping. The resort features two restaurants and three bars offering Continental,
Japanese and American cuisine. A swimming pool, diving, complete marine sports
center including rental equipment, fishing, jet-skiing, windsurfing, sailing and scuba
diving are also included. |
Pacific Islands Club-
Crystal clear waters and golden sands offer the ideal location for this new hotel on
sheltered Chalan Konoe Beach. There are two restaurants, one featuring a theatre
show and nightclub the other has an outdoor barbecue twice a week. Swimming, tennis,
volleyball, basketball, archery, croquet, aerobics, scuba diving, windsurfing, canoeing
and kayaking are some of the activities available. |
